Many in Central Georgia participated in the Middle Georgia Food Bank's Stuff the Truck event this past Thursday.
First, we would like to thank the Central Georgia community for making the drive a huge success!
We are excited to report the grand total of money raised and meals provided for the Middle Georgia Food Bank to serve over 20 counties around the state.
During the drive on December 6, folks came out to three different locations canned goods and other non-perishable items. The total meals raised by location:
- Zebulon Road in Macon donated 6,558 ibs = 5,465 meals
- Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins/Centerville donated 6,802 lbs = 5,668 meals
- Columbia Street in Milledgeville 2,544 lbs = 2,120 meals
A total of $7,070.19 in donations were also made to the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank through "Stuff the Truck" for a grand total of over 30,000 meals donated.
