The woman accused of shooting a Macon teen in the head in January for allegedly throwing rocks has been released from Bibb County jail Monday.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office jail records, Elisabeth Cannon, 47, was released on $55,200 bond.
Cannon shot then 15-year-old Vernon Marcus Jr. in the head alleging that he and some other teens were throwing rocks at her home.
Cannon was arrested the day of the shooting and was released the following day on $12,400 bond saying the shooting was in self defense.
She was later indicted on two counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated battery for the shooting at her Bloomfield Drive home. Cannon was placed back in custody and a judge denied giving her a bond during a hearing in April.
When asked Tuesday about Cannon being given bond, District Attorney David Cooke declined to comment about the case.
During the seven months prior to the shooting, Cannon called Bibb County deputies 34 times.
Those incident reports show that Cannon called 911 for a range of complaints including barking dogs, to men yelling in the street, people walking behind her house, and finding drug paraphernalia in her yard.
