Warner Robins police say they're investigating a former Houston County High School teacher who resigned this week.
Police would not say why they're investigating James Vance and declined to release records in the case.
But they cited an exemption in the state's Open Records law that covers child abuse or child substance abuse.
By email, police say they executed a search warrant in the Vance case Feb. 19.
School spokeswoman Beth McLaughlin said Vance resigned this week. She would not say why.
Last week, when asked about Vance's status, she declined comment except to say that the district was investigating a staff member for alleged improper use of social media.
