Warner Robins Police searching for suspects in shooting that left two teens hurt, police say

Warner Robins Police say that two people were shot at the Lake Vista Apartments — a 15-year-old and an 18-year-old — who were both shot in the leg.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — The Warner Robins Police Department says that two teens were shot Friday at a Warner Robins apartment complex, according to a press release from the police department.

They say it happened at around 3:35 p.m. Friday afternoon.

The police department says that two people were shot at the Lake Vista Apartments — a 15-year-old and an 18-year-old — who were both shot in the leg.

Both teens were near the entrance to the apartment complex when police say a green Honda CRV drove up to them. That's when they say both victims had a brief interaction with the people in the car before "several" gunshots rang out.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital where they are currently recovering. Their names are being withheld at this time because one of them is a juvenile and the other is waiting on the notification of their family.

They are still looking for the suspect's vehicle, a Green Honda CRV with the RTA6517.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to reach out to Warner Robins Police Detective Brankley at 478-302-5380 or the Macon Regional Crimestoppers 1-877-68CRIME.

We have a reporter on the scene who is working to learn more information. We will continue to provide updates when more information becomes available.

The apartment complex has been the site of at least four shootings since 2018, according to previous reporting.
