Lt. Matt Moulton told 13WMAZ that the call came in at around 6:30 p.m. this evening in the 100 block of Virginia Dare Drive.
In a press release at around 10:30 p.m., the Houston County Sheriff's Office said that the victim was a 19-year-old man.
They believe the man was shot "multiple" times during the robbery. When authorities arrived, the victim was then taken to a Macon area hospital. Moulton said that the victim is expected to survive.
