Man shot during Warner Robins home invasion, sheriff's office says

The man was shot during a home invasion in the 100 block of Virginia Dare Drive, Lt. Matt Moulton said.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A Warner Robins resident was shot during a home invasion Wednesday night, the Houston County Sheriff's Office believes

Lt. Matt Moulton told 13WMAZ that the call came in at around 6:30 p.m. this evening in the 100 block of Virginia Dare Drive. 

In a press release at around 10:30 p.m., the Houston County Sheriff's Office said that the victim was a 19-year-old man.  

They believe the man was shot "multiple" times during the robbery. When authorities arrived, the victim was then taken to a Macon area hospital. Moulton said that the victim is expected to survive. 

Moulton said that the Houston County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the shooting.
