WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Gunfire rang out in Warner Robins and a man was robbed during the early hours of Thursday morning, an incident report from the Warner Robins Police Department shows.
A man called authorities in Warner Robins about two suspects pulling a gun on him in the parking lot at the Timber Ridge Apartments off Moody Road at around 12:30 a.m.
The report says the suspect demanded the man hand over his belongings.
The man complied after their threats, and the report says a financial document was taken and his wallet and cash were stolen. All told, the value of the stolen property was $310, the incident report said, and the officers then helped the man cancel his cards.
They also offered advice on how to keep his accounts secured.
During the investigation, a witness on the scene told authorities that they heard gunshots ring out and people fleeing the area.
That is backed up by three shell casings that were recovered on the scene and listed in the incident report.
The report does not explain why the suspects opened fire or who they shot at.
