Four men are charged with attempted armed robbery after an investigation, according to a release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

It says officers saw two men running towards the Savannah Apartments from the west side of the Stop and Go on Ignico Drive Saturday evening.

The men got into a car, leading the officers on a chase, before wrecking at the intersection of Grenada Terrace and Briarcliff Road.

After the car crash, the suspects got out of the car and ran away.

20-year-old D’Andre Montel Williams was taken into custody and charged with attempted armed robbery and criminal damage to property.

An investigation led to the arrest of 17-year-old Ernest Lee Mace Jr., 18-year-old Joshua Jentavious Brown and one unnamed 16-year-old. The three are charged with attempted armed robbery.

The release says detectives think the four are connected to a crime spree and there may be additional charges.
