Crime scene investigators were still on the scene of a Warner Robins homicide on Monday night.
In a release, Warner Robins Police say 81-year-old Valeria Mann was stabbed in the chest at least once.
Police responded to a 911 call around 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the home on Willow Avenue where they found Mann.
By Sunday afternoon, police arrested her grandson, 30-year-old Jared Carter, for the killing.
So far, the Department has not said what led to the stabbing, saying the investigation is still ongoing.
But, they did say Carter was not from the Warner Robins area and was living with his grandmother when she was killed.
Neighbors on Willow Avenue who spoke to 13WMAZ on Monday said they didn't know Mann very well or her living situation.
