CENTERVILLE, Ga. — A Warner Robins man was arrested in a fatal hit-and-run in Centerville, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

They say Warner Robins man Jerson Anibal Andrade-Romero, 31, was arrested Thursday in the death of 30-year-old Anne-Marie Gray after allegedly hitting her with his car and driving off.

According to Georgia State Patrol, Gray and a 47-year-old man were riding their bikes on Elberta Road in Centerville at around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6.

While in the center of the eastbound lane without any lights on, GSP believes Andrade-Romero rear-ended Gray's bicycle with a 2010 Acura TL, throwing her off the bike. She was eventually pronounced dead on the scene.

After striking her, Andrade-Romero did not stop and continued driving eastbound on Elberta Road. The Georgia State Patrol says another man, 47, was also hit but survived his injuries.

The Georgia State Patrol says that they ultimately identified Andrade-Romero after "an extensive investigation," the press release said.

He was booked into the Houston County jail on multiple charges, including homicide by vehicle, following too closely and hit and run, jail records say.

However, the 2010 Acura TL involved in the crash has still not been found. They're asking for the public's help locating the vehicle.

The accident is still under investigation. Anyone with more information on the possible suspect or the hit-and-run can call the Perry Georgia State Patrol office at 478-988-6740 or the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
