Georgia's Crawford County Police Chief Ty Matthews said they were informed of the threat the day before it was said to happen.

"Monday afternoon at approximately 10 minutes after 4:00, my school officer called and said they had received a call at the police department about some graffiti on the wall threatening a school shooting," Matthews said.

The picture led Matthews to believe it was either at Crawford County Middle or High School. He immediately contacted Principal Ed Mashburn. They checked that night and the next morning.

"I went to every bathroom, male and female, before school started. My custodians got to school, they went around and checked the bathrooms just to make sure that I didn't miss anything. We didn't find anything on any wall in any bathroom," Mashburn said.

Meanwhile, the same picture was on Sheriff Kent's radar in Crawford County, Ohio. He got the FBI involved and said they saw the picture being shared in Georgia, so he notified Matthews.
