MACON, Ga. — A Macon man is dead after a shooting at Pendleton Homes Apartments Saturday morning.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a person shot around 6:10 a.m.
When deputies got to the scene, they found 20-year-old Octavius Savon Nixon unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head and arm outside building O, the release said.
According to the sheriff's office, he was pronounced dead on scene.
There is no suspect information available, and the case under investigation.
