Sergeant Clay Williams says the 9-year-old has gone from critical to critical but stable condition.
UPDATE, 8:23 p.m.:
A child is in critical condition after being hit by a car in west Macon.
That's according to Sergeant Clay Williams with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. Williams says 17-year-old Logan Yarbrough of Lizella was driving down the 5200 block of Bloomfield Road when he hit a 9-year-old biking across the street.
The child was transported by medevac to Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta.

The accident happened some time after 6 p.m. Friday evening outside of the Colony West apartment complex. Neighbors say a young child was hit.
