Social media is blowing up over an apparent injury to Georgia QB Jake Fromm.
The injury? A broken bone… in his non-throwing hand – that would be his left hand.
It reportedly happened as the result of a freak boating accident earlier this week on Lake Burton.
The University of Georgia has not released any information on the injury or how it happened.
Dawgs247 reports Fromm won’t miss any time due to the injury and he is expected to be with his team for the rest of summer.
They say he’ll be wearing a splint for the next few weeks and won’t be limited when preseason camp begins next month.
Georgia’s season begins September 1 at home against Austin Peay, followed by an away game with SEC-rival South Carolina on September 8.
