Two people received minor injuries as the result of a car accident that happened near Ridge Road on Highway 57 in Twiggs County on Friday evening.
According to the accident report, Roy Slaughter was going south in his blue 2007 Toyota Camry near Henderson Road when he failed to yield the right of way.
He struck Michael Snider’s 2006 red Chevy Silverado that was headed eastbound and spun around hitting Snider’s pull-behind trailer.
Slaughter says his vision was obscured by the glare of the sun.
One of the six passengers in Slaughter’s car received minor injuries as well as Snider.
