MACON, Ga. — Hot peppers, a movie career ending, and a local theater getting a fresh start are this week's hot button issues.
13WMAZ producer Alex Guevara breaks it all down in this week's Trending Talkers.
For all the fans of spicy foods - a new record-breaker is on the books.
Pepper X was created by Ed Currie from South Carolina -- who originally set a world's hottest record with Carolina Reapers a decade ago.
Alex said that personally, he loves spicy food, He even keeps a bottle of hot sauce in my desk here at work.
However, he's with a lot of you out there central Georgia - this one might be too hot for him.
But you never know, and if 13WMAZ Facebook follower Doston is serving up the hot wings, it might be worth the pain.

Over 160 films since he started. That's the impressive filmography built up by Sir Michael Caine.
He's officially retired now that his last film hit theaters earlier this month.
Brenda has the right idea - sad to see Caine go, but he's definitely earned the rest.
Rita says he's entertained a lot of people for a long time. Alex's personal favorite was his Ebenezer Scrooge performance in the Muppet Christmas Carol.

For the first time in 40 years, the marquis will shine at a downtown Macon Theatre.
Macon Bibb's theater is showing the Alfred Hitchcock's classic Rear Window this weekend. It's showing on the façade outside after they light up the marquis.
There's still work to do inside.
The free event brought up memories for Amy, who remembers her family talking about catching a movie at the theater.
And just for you Sam -- maybe this is the signal to open up another movie theater in town.
That's it for this week's trending talkers!
