Traffic Alert: Gray Bypass at Greene Settlement Road reopens after log truck crash

The area has reopened, according to Georgia 511.

GRAY, Georgia — Update: 9:20 a.m. Georgia 511 says no lanes are blocked and the road has reopened. 

The Gray Bypass at the Greene Settlement Road intersection has been shut down since just before 6:15 a.m. due to a log truck crash, according to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.

Georgia 511 says the crash is not expected to be cleared until 9:15 a.m. The Jones County Sheriff’s Office asks that those driving through the area avoid the bypass and take a different route while they work to clear the crash. 

The post from the sheriff's does not mention any injuries in the crash.
