MACON, Ga. — It's the season of giving! While Thanksgiving is just around the corner, many Central Georgians may still be wondering where they will find their next meal. Here are some places in Central Georgia where people can get a meal or a turkey for the holidays.

Rescue Mission Thanksgiving event
When: Nov. 23
The event will provide approximately 1,800 nourishing meals, according to a press release. In addition to meals, the Rescue Mission will also distribute warm coats, blankets, and hygiene kits, and "share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the homeless in the downtown area," according to their release.
Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway
When: Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. at 4 locations
Forrest B. Johnson and associates will be giving away 1200 free meals while supplies last at 4 different locations. Each location will have around 300 meals. This event is first come, first served.
They'll be giving away food at Burdell-Hunt Elementary School, L.H. Williams Elementary School, Southwest High School and Unionville Baptist Church.
7th Annual Potluck Dinner and Karaoke
When: Nov. 23 Doors open at 7 p.m. and dinner at 8 p.m.
Show off your skills in the kitchen and bring a dish for the rest of your Billy's family to enjoy! If you bring a dish they have a free drink waiting for you!
DJ Custom will also be in the building for a special Thanksgiving Karaoke night kicking off at 9 p.m.
20's Pub Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner and Music
When: Nov. 24 at 3076 Riverside Drive
We will be providing fried turkeys, so make sure you bring a dish or dessert to enjoy with everyone!
- Dinner will be from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
- Live Music from Keith Williams will kick off at 9 p.m. until 1a.m
HOUSTON
Turkey Giveaway
When: Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. at 211 Macon Rd. in Perry
Greater Word of Deliverance Ministries Inc. will be giving away free turkeys to families in need.
