MACON, Ga. — Bibb County deputies are investigating two armed robberies of different Subway locations with the same suspect.
The first robbery happened around 7:15 p.m. Friday at the location on Pio Nono Avenue.
According to a release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, it was reported a man entered the sandwich shop with a gun and demanded money. He drove off in a white sedan without getting any money after getting pepper sprayed in the face by a clerk.
Around 8:45 p.m., deputies say the same man robbed the Subway on Hartley Bridge Road.
A release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says he entered that location and demanded money before running away with an undisclosed amount.
No one was injured in either robbery.
The sheriff's office says the suspect had long dreads and was wearing dark colored clothes as well as a mask.
