WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Students from all over met at the Museum of Aviation on Saturday for the program FIRST Lego League Super Regional Qualifier.
The theme of the competition was "Masterpiece," where students reimagined the future of sustainable energy and address global challenges in innovative ways, and expressed their creativity using art and technology.
Over 24 teams competed in the tournament, and the winners will go on to the state tournament at Georgia Tech in February.
After kids competed, there were food vendors and food trucks on site to munch on some delicious treats.
The event was open to the public, and several spectators lined up to see the competition in action.
Program FIRST is aimed at inspiring young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor based programs that build science, technology, engineering, and math skills.
