Since Peach County Deputies Patrick Sondron and Daryl Smallwood were killed, the Central Georgia community has been coming together to show support for their families. Madison Cavalchire went to Eastman, to see how a town already mourning one of their own, Officer Tim Smith, continues to back the blue.

Chelsea Clark is still mourning the loss of her fiance and her daughter Madison's father.

"They need their mommy," Clark said. "I'm who they have now."

After Eastman Officer -- Tim Smith -- was killed three months ago, The LeatherMan Motorcycle Shop in Eastman sponsored a Memorial Ride and Fundraiser.

"With the money they raised for us, that really took the stress off a lot," Clark said.

The event raised almost $16,000 for Clark and her children. Now, she wants Peach County Deputies, Patrick Sondron's and Daryl Smallwood's families, to receive that same support. That's why The LeatherMan is sponsoring another Memorial Ride in Eastman, set for Saturday, December 10.

"I've been doing poker runs, charity runs, now for 20 years," Joel Yarbrough, The LeatherMan's owner, said. "I've never seen any turnout like we had for Tim Smith."

Yarbrough says he's hoping to see the same turnout for Sondron and Smallwood. He says all proceeds will be split evenly between the two families.

"I would like to see the numbers doubled," said Dodge County Sergeant, Sid Andrews. "Largely in part, to show the family that we appreciate the sacrifice that their loved one made for their community."

They all say, it's the least they can do.

"I want to return the favor, the love, to them, that I was shown," Chelsea Clark, Tim Smith's fiance, said.

If you'd like to participate in the upcoming memorial ride, you can register in advance or on the day of the event. It happens Saturday, December 10. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., and the ride starts at noon. The ride will start and end at The LeatherMan Motorcycle Shop in Eastman.
