FORSYTH, Ga. — The square in Forsyth has reopened this morning after a fire near the Rose Theater broke out just before 11 p.m. Tuesday night closed it for several hours, according to an alert from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

The fire has been put out, but there were two trucks still in the area monitoring the Branded Starr Western Boutique where the fire started. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the road has reopened but the sidewalk remains closed.
