MACON, Ga. — A fourth major headliner for the Cherry Blossom Festival was announced on Thursday.
Country music performer Ernest will headline the 42nd annual Cherry Blossom Festival, according to a press release.
He's set to take the stage for the Festival Finale on Sunday, March 24 in Carolyn Crayton Park for the festival's nightly concert series.
The concert series features local, regional, and national artists performing each night of the 10-day festival from March 15-24.
Gate entry is $10 every day and the Nightly Concert Series is included in your admission. Children 10 and under are free. A clear bag policy is in effect and guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
The release says Ernest is "Nashville's most unpredictable hitmaker."
"A 2022 Variety Hitmaker, the chart-topping songwriter fuses influences ranging from Eminem to George Jones, crafting a twist-heavy verse style that’s become his signature, proving its mettle, and earning him eight #1 hits to date," the release says.
Ernest just wrapped his first-ever sold-out Sucker For Small Towns Tour this past fall, and will hit the road in March as direct support on Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour.
He recently released a deluxe version of his album in 2022 titled FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM): Two Dozen Roses. it reached critical acclaim and doubled the tracklist of the previous album.
