MACON, Ga. — A Macon man was arrested on burglary charges Tuesday after breaking the glass at a Dollar General.
According to a release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Taucedi Perin was arrested just before 3 a.m. at the Dollar General on Thomaston Road.
Deputies saw Perin walk up to a Dollar General and break the store’s glass.
They waited for him to leave the store to confront him, but he started to run away. Deputies chased him and when they caught up to him, he started to fight them.
The release says investigators linked him to seven Family Dollar and Dollar General burglaries.
Perin was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with seven counts of commercial burglary, possession of a tool for the commission of a crime, and obstruction of a peace officer.
He also had a warrant out for his arrest from the Griffin Police Department.
