SANDERSVILLE, Ga. — Authorities arrested seven people in Washington County for trafficking, using and distributing marijuana and cocaine, according to a press release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.
After a four-month investigation, the seven people — ranging from 30 years old to 64 — were taken into custody.
The GBI's Middle Georgia Gang Task Force began making arrests on Aug. 23, the press release said.
They say 64 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana and a riffle were confiscated during the investigation.
The GBI arrested the following individuals, according to the press release:
- Justin Sutton, 32: trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of knife during the commission of a crime
- Robert Johnson, 64: 3 counts of sale of Cocaine and possession of cocaine
- Donald Sutton, 47: 2 counts of sale of cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Howard Swint, 52: 2 counts of sale of cocaine.
- Anthony Williams, 30: possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
- Freddie Felmming, 59, was charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
Another person was charged with possession of cocaine.
The case was investigated by the GBI, the Department of Community Supervision, the Georgia Department of Corrections, The Georgia State Patrol and the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
