Roberts Christmas Tree Farm hosts big opening to kick off Christmas season

With Thanksgiving officially over, many families are now on the hunt for Christmas trees.

BYRON, Ga. — Folks in Byron could finish up their Thanksgiving leftovers and then head out to pick up a Christmas tree on Saturday.

Roberts Tree Farm held a grand opening and several folks were able to select their trees to carry home.

In addition to foliage, there were also local vendors set up with ornaments, crafts, and Christmas decorations.

The big man in red was also in attendance - and kids and families could get their photo made with Santa with the trees as a backdrop.

Several trees are grown on the farm, including cypress, cedar, and more. They range from around 5 feet to 12 feet tall, so families can choose the size to best fit their needs.

Some families even come from Florida just to get their tree at Roberts Tree Farm.

The farm is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. if you want to stop by and grab one for yourself!

They provide the saw and all necessary materials to help you go home with a beautiful tree.

December 20th will be the last day to get a tree from the farm.
