Person shot in Warner Robins after fight between estranged husband and wife turns violent, police say

It happened in the 700 block of March Street at around 9:15 a.m. Friday, the Warner Robins Police Department said.

A man is dead in Warner Robins after an estranged husband showed up at his wife's house and shot his wife's friend, according to Warner Robins Police Srgt. Justin Clark, who heads investigations for the police department

In the original press release from the Warner Robins Police Department, they called him an "ex-boyfriend" but Clark says that they were instead estranged husband and wife. 

Clark says that a friend of the man's ex-wife was killed during the shooting.

A man is dead in Warner Robins on Friday morning after being shot during a fight between a boyfriend and an ex-partner, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.

It happened in the 700 block of March Street at around 9:15 a.m. That is within the Huntington Hill's complex. 

In a press release, they say an ex-boyfriend came uninvited to the home and got into a fight with the ex-partner. 

At some point, a handgun was pulled and another person at the home was shot, according to the press release. 

Coroner James Williams tells 13WMAZ the victim was taken to Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins where he died shortly after. 

According to the police department, this is still an ongoing investigation and the next of kin has not been notified.
