PERRY, Ga. — A Houston County Fire engine overturned in Perry on Wednesday evening, according to Perry Fire Capt. Jesse Riner.
He says it happened at the intersection of Carroll and Main Street at around 5:50 p.m.
The county fire department was heading to an RV wreck on the interstate, but it overturned on the way to the crash, Riner said.
He says no one was injured.
According to Riner, Main Street at Carroll was closed as they worked to clear the road.
Crews were working to flip the truck and get it upright, and a tow truck arrived on the scene to help tow the truck away.
According to Houston County Fire Chief Chris Stoner, they are "working through" that, but he said they have since gotten the truck towed away. He says the road has since reopened.
