It happened early Sunday morning.

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says a woman died after a fight in Macon early Sunday morning.

They originally received a call just after midnight. They say two women were fighting in the 800 block of Maynard Street.  When deputies arrived they said witnesses told them the women drove by private vehicle to the hospital.

Investigators later learned that 27-year-old Shantoria Hines died from her injuries.

The second person, 26-year-old Kreo Montgomery is listed in stable condition with a gunshot wound.

Right now the Sheriff’s office says they’re investigating what led up to the incident.
