WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. — A fatal crash on Highway 24 in Washington County has left one woman dead.
According to Chief Deputy Mark McGraw with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, a car was traveling on Highway 24 near Holton road when it hit a tree.
The driver, identified as 43-year-old Stacy Childers of Tennille, was ejected from the car.
The Sheriff's Office is asking drivers to use caution in this area.
