One dead and three injured in traffic accident on Eisenhower Parkway early Friday morning

A release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says the three injured people are listed in critical but stable condition.

MACON, Ga. — Three people are injured and one is dead after an early morning traffic accident at the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and Second Street Friday morning.

A release from Bibb County Sheriff's Office said they got the call around 1:37 a.m. about two cars involved in a crash.

When deputies arrived, they saw a white Honda Civic and a gray Crown Victoria had collided.

Three of the four people involved in the accident were taken to a hospital for treatment. They are all listed in critical but stable condition.

A man from the Crown Victorian was pronounced dead on scene by Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley.

He was identified by Coroner Leon Jones as 45-year-old Carlos Jordan who lived just blocks from the scene of the crash. 

Investigators are still working to find out what caused the crash.
