Ocmulgee Riverfest held at Mile Branch Park in Hawkinsville

The event was underway at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, beginning with its infamous duck race.

HAWKINSVILLE, Ga. — Folks in Hawkinsville came out Saturday morning to Ocmulgee Riverfest, the 4th annual celebration put on by the Hawkinsville Chamber of Commerce.

The celebration was underway at 10:30 a.m., beginning with its infamous duck race.

There was also live music from the Tres Hombres and Plum Tucker'd bands, along with lots of food vendors and craft booths.

It was free to attend, and families could have fun with events like a petting zoo, gellyball tournaments, a foam party, and more

The Riverfest celebration lasted from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
