MACON, Ga. — Two people were found dead in a Milledgeville home Thursday morning, according to the Milledgeville Police Department.
They say it happened in the 200 block of Roberts Street as the police department was conducting a welfare check.
One person was found dead in the living room and the other person was found dead in a hallway, the release says.
The police department does not know how the two people died, and their bodies were sent over to the GBI crime lab to determine their cause of death. The press release does not say whether or not they suspect foul play.
If you know anything about the death, you can call the Milledgeville Police Department at 478-414-4090 and ask to speak with a detective.
They say you can also call the department's tip line at 478-414-4413 or the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
