The Hancock County Sheriff's Office and Milledgeville Police Department are looking for a man who went missing on Saturday, Jan. 27.
They say 67-year-old Horace Kennedy was last seen around Lake Sinclair Drive in Sparta.
In a release, they said Kennedy's family last saw him on Saturday, and at 3 p.m. on Monday they contacted the police to help.
Hancock County Sheriff Terrell Primus said Kennedy is on medication and are concerned that his health or safety could be at risk. Kennedy has wandered off before but has never been gone for more than a couple hours. This led them to organizing a multi-agency search for Kennedy.
The GBI, Milledgeville Police Department and Sheriff's Office are currently out looking for Kennedy.
They say his height is 5 foot 4 inches tall, he has white hair and a beard, and weighs around 140 pounds.
If you see him, they encourage you to call the Sheriff's Office at (706) 444-6471.
