Central Georgians will be able to fly nonstop from Macon to Biloxi, Mississippi, beginning this week according to a release from the Beau Rivage Casino and Resort.

It says the three-night air-inclusive vacation packages from the Middle Georgia Regional Airport to the Beau Rivage Resort are set to begin Friday, August 26.

“We’re seeing increased interest by people, airlines, and other industries to have commercial flights at Middle Georgia Regional Airport, and Beau Rivage’s early success with these types of flights is one more example of that,” says Doug Faour, Macon-Bibb County Airport Manager. “These charter flights are a great chance for people to get away easily for a relaxing weekend, and we look forward to them expanding this program in the future.”

The packages will include round-trip airfare, grand transportation, resort accommodations and $40 at the slots.

The press release says the packages start at $439.99 and there will be one flight each month through the end of 2016. For dates and information on how to book a reservation, click here.
