A Baldwin grand jury indicted Marcus Lillard on four charges connected to the death of his girlfriend Marianne Shockley.

According to District Attorney Stephen Bradley, Lillard is charged with felony murder, involuntary manslaughter, reckless conduct, and concealing a death.

Although Lillard and homeowner Clark Heindel reportedly told officers that Shockley drowned in the hot tub, the autopsy found that she was was strangled.
