MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was shot on Brentwood Avenue on Sunday.
They say it happened on Brentwood Avenue near Columbus Road just after 4:30 a.m.
A 50-year-old man was walking on Brentwood Avenue when people in an SUV shot at him.
The man was hit once and transported to Atrium Health Navicent.
He is listed in stable condition.
No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what led up to the shooting.
