Police say 28-year-old Kelvis Whitley was gunned down after an altercation turned into gunfire in the early hours of Sunday morning.
On Monday, you could still see the remnants of a party and confrontation in front of nightclub.
Antonio Johnson says he can't believe he lost his big brother that quickly.
"He was a kindhearted person. He'll give you the shirt off of his back if you ask him for it," said Johnson. "If you ran across him, he was the nicest person you could meet. He loved his kids. He loved his dog. He was just an all around good person."
Laurens County Sheriff Larry Dean says there were about 300 people at One World Club Saturday night, but when the shooting happened Sunday morning most of them scattered after the shooting leaving investigators to piece together what happened.
"Once the shooting starts, there's no fence around it and people just disappear on us," said Dean. "You have to start searching and doing one on one investigation to even get names of people to tell you who they are."
Possible bullet holes pierced through the walls. Two other men were hit in the crossfire -- 26-year-old Miles Hamilton of Dublin and 35-year-old Tarius Newsome of Warner Robins. Both men were treated at Fairview Park Hospital and released.
According to Johnson, Kelvis had two sons an 11-year-old and a 3-month-old child.
"If you seen something, speak up," said Johnson."If it was your family and I was there, I would speak up. If you're scared, don't worry about it. It's nothing for you to be scared of," said Johnson.
