One man dead after wrong-way crash on Gray Highway

The man drove his Nissan on the wrong side of the road around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday

MACON, Ga. — A man is dead after a wrong way crash on Gray Highway, according to a Georgia State Patrol press release.

29 year old Marcel Hill was travelling west in the eastbound lane around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. 

His Nissan Altima crashed head on into a Chevy Colorado that was driving east in the correct lane.

After the head on collision, the Nissan spun out into a grassy median, while the Chevy spun out and landed in a far right lane in the middle of the highway.

The press release said the people in the Chevy were transported to Navicent Macon Health with non-life threatening injuries. 

Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley pronounced Hill dead at the scene.
