A man is in stable condition after a shooting at a Warner Robins home Wednesday morning.
It happened around 11 a.m. at 300 Carolina Ave.
Assistant Chief John Wagner says the victim and the suspected shooter were both on the scene when officers arrived.
He said the victim received multiple gunshot wounds and is in stable condition at Medical Center-Navicent Health in Macon.
Wagner says the suspected shooter is being interviewed. No charges were filed at 2 p.m.
Police Chief Brett Evans says the suspected shooter called it self-defense.
The shooting scene is about a block from Northside High School. School spokeswoman Beth McLaughlin said the school went on code yellow -- less restrictive than a lockdown -- for about 10 minutes, from 11:15 to 11:25 a.m.
