A man was arrested last night after leading Dooly County deputies on a high speed chase.

Dooly County Investigator Randy Lamberth says it happened around 5:00 pm when someone called to complain that a driver was going too fast I-75 North.

Lamberth says deputies saw 56-year-old Howard Dennis Clark driving around 112 miles per hour through emergency lanes on the interstate.

He says deputies tried to stop the car but Clark kept going.

That's when Peach County Sheriff's deputies put out a spike strip at the Warner Robins exit and punctured three of Clark's tires.

Lamberth says Dooly County deputies arrested Clark and he faces nine charges including failure to stop for blue lights, fleeing and attempting to elude police officers and wreckless driving.
