Man arrested after chase through three Central Georgia counties

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says the chase began in Peach County.

MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — A man was arrested on Wednesday after a chase that spanned three Central Georgia counties.

The chase went through Peach, Bibb and Monroe counties,

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says the chase began in Peach County. 

Monroe County deputies became involved when the chase entered the county, according to a press release. 

They say it entered the county through the Rumble Road exit. 

The suspect was identified as Christopher Bernard Davis. 

He is currently in the Monroe County Jail for charges of possession of marijuana, fleeing and attempting to elude and Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act (VGCSA), according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
