Man arrested and charged in string of pharmacy burglaries in Georgia

He's being held in the Toombs County jail.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested a man in connection with a burglary at a Wheeler County pharmacy in Glenwood, Georgia on Monday.

Joshua Tyler Jay, 32, of Metter, Georgia was also linked to other incidents at pharmacies in Vidalia, Hazlehurst. Douglas and Statesboro.

Jay is charged with burglary, criminal damage to property, theft by taking, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and criminal trespass.

He is currently being held in the Toombs County jail.
