'Uninhabitable:' Evacuated Crystal Lake residents receive eviction letters

People evacuated from Crystal Lake have been dealt another blow -- they're now being evicted

MACON, Ga. — Residents of the high-rise and midrise at Macon’s Crystal Lake Apartments who were evacuated last week have been dealt another blow – eviction.

According to an email that went out to tenants from Robinson LLC -- the group representing the landlord -- their leases were immediately terminated following the determination that their apartments were deemed uninhabitable.

Robinson LLC’s email says they will coordinate with local county officials so that tenants can re-enter their apartments and get the rest of their personal items.

Additionally, people who were evicted and current in their lease payment can apply to the leasing office for a pro-rated reimbursement of their February rent.
