Since the strategic plan for Bibb Schools was revealed, there has been a protest march, an online petition with more than a thousand signatures, and dozens of parents addressing the school board with questions and comments.
"I don't see the comments and questions as negative," said superintendent Romain Dallemand, "I see the comments and questions as individuals who want answers. Again, this is something big for our community."
In an in-depth interview Wednesday, Dallemand discussed several issues including how much the plan would cost, safety and discipline provisions in the plan, and what role, if any, race plays in the plan.
