Christmas morning is on the way, and Monday, hundreds of deserving children received Christmas gifts from rapper Jeezy.
Jeezy returned home to Macon for his annual Street Dreams Toy Giveaway that was held at the Buck Melton Center Monday.
Children of all ages received toys from the rapper who says seeing a smile on each child's face is what makes his Christmas.
Jeezy says, "Man, the children are the future, and it's just like Macon has done a lot for me throughout my life. You know what I mean? So just a lot of my friends and family a lot of people I see grow up here, it's like we've been doing this for about 10-11 years now."
Monday's toy giveaway was a collaborative effort organized with help from Bibb County Commissioner Al Tillman and Unity-N- Community along with Blazin Hip Hop 92.3.
In October, Jeezy released his latest album "Church in These Streets." The video from one of the songs, "Where I'm From" was shot in Macon.
