A Macon man was charged with kidnapping his ex-girlfriend after an incident Monday morning in west Bibb County.
Rinaldo Dewayne Callaway, 31, forced his way into his ex-girlfriend's apartment while she, her son and his two friends hid in a bedroom, according to a sheriff's office news release.
The incident occurred at about 2 a.m. Monday on Plantation Way.
Callaway forced his way into the bedroom and ordered the woman to go to her car and drive him to his mother's house, the news release states.

Along with the kidnapping charged, Callaway was also charged with damage to property, robbery by snatching, cruelty to children, interference with government property, battery, obstruction of law enforcement, family violence and trespassing.
