Several plumbers from Mr. Rooter came together to watch one of their own on the small screen. Wayne Huff appeared as an employee on CBS' 'Undercover Boss' Sunday night. We caught up with him at his viewing party.

Wayne Huff started working for Mr. Rooter at twenty-four. He says he loves the show Undercover Boss and he's never missed and episode, but he never thought he would be featured.

"I'm a plumber. I'm not a t.v. person," says Huff

He says he was asked to be on a television show called 'Keep Your Day Job', so he wasn't surprised when a caravan of camera crews showed up. "It's about a woman that's been in the same career for twenty years, and she was looking to switch careers. And they were going to have her ride around with different people, and at the end of the week she would decide if she wanted to keep her day job or switch careers." says Huff.

He didn't know until the big reveal on the show that 'Keep Your Day Job' was fake.

When he was face-to-face with his CEO, he says his mind was racing.

"Everything I could have possibly said or done wrong went through my head," says Huff.

Huff's boss at Mr. Rooter, Heath Dickers, says he wasn't acting. "He's a good employee. He's really honest and straightforward with you if he sees something that he thinks may need to be fixed," says Dickers.

Huff was so impressive to the CEO of the Dwyer Group, owner of Mr. Rooter and several other franchises gave him an infinite recommendation to anywhere in the country and a $20,000 bonus.

"It was overwhelming. Those kinds of things just don't happen everyday," says Huff.

He says he likes the show's message, but he never thought he would be watching himself get fooled by his boss.

The show was filmed last July when Huff worked with a Mr. Rooter franchise in Roswell, Georgia. Now he works with a another Mr. Rooter franchise in Macon.
