MACON, Ga. — Updated:
A man is in jail Friday evening over the shooting at the Motel 6 near Riverside Drive, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
They say 32-year-old Cody Aaron Stephenson was arrested and booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center on one count of reckless conduct and two counts of aggravated assault.
In the updated press release, they say Stephenson got in an argument with another man at the hotel. That led Stephenson to allegedly grab a gun and firing shots through the door and window of the room.
The two men were injured — between the ages of 25 and 40 years old — were taken to Atrium Health Navicent where medical staff told the sheriff's office they expect them to be okay.
