A 54-year-old Macon man is in critical condition after being hit on Hartley Bridge Road Saturday evening.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 7 p.m.
They say 41-year-old Steven Lawson was driving west when he entered a poorly lit area of the road. There was a man walking in the middle of his lane of travel and he hit him.
The pedestrian, identified as Ralph Dorminy, was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, where he is listed in critical condition,
Lawson and his wife were not injured in the collision.
