Macon man charged in 3 Bibb Co. homicides

The 23-year-old is charged in connection to two shooting deaths in April 2018 and this past weekend's homicide in downtown Macon.

A Macon man connected to three different shooting deaths is now behind bars.

According to a release, Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators and members of the U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force served arrest warrants on 23-year-old Kaylen Devon Johnson.

Johnson was arrested at the Majestic Garden Apartments at 2560 Rocky Creek Road Thursday Morning.

Johnson was charged in connection to the two homicides that took place on Mason Street and Vining Circle back in April.  Marlon Jermaine Williams was found shot to death on Mason street between Anthony Road and Carroll Street. 75-year-old Ann Kathleen Leonard was found dead in her home on the same day. Police say a stray bullet went through a window in the rear of her home.

Johnson is the second suspect arrested in connection to the two homicides. Devantae Lundy was arrested on April 20, 2018.

Johnson was also charged in the shooting death of Danny Thomas Causey in downtown Macon.

Terry Warren was also shot during this incident. Warren has since been released from the hospital.

Johnson is being held without bond and faces 3 counts of Murder, Participating in Street Gang Activity, Influencing Witness, Failure to Appear- Felony, Probation Violation- Felony and Entering Auto.
